The LEGO Group

58 x 47.5 x 17 cm

Created for the tenth anniversary of LEGO’s Modular Buildings collection, this 3,966-piece set with 9 minifigures brings a whole neighbourhood together around a public square. A bakery, florist and café share the scene with upstairs businesses and homes, creating a substantial centrepiece for a modular street.

Its anniversary references reward longtime collectors: the café’s yellow-and-white awnings recall Café Corner, while a miniature printed box depicts that original 2007 set. Even the architecture holds surprises, with excavator buckets repurposed as roof details. Now retired, Assembly Square offers both an expansive building experience and a celebration of the collection’s first decade.
