The LEGO Group

38 x 26 x 9 cm

Created as LEGO’s 2016 employee gift, this 1,141-piece collection celebrates half a century of LEGO trains through six miniature models. The selection travels from the 1966 Motorized Train and 1976 Western Train to the Monorail, Metroliner, Emerald Night and Winter Holiday Train.

Including the futuristic Monorail alongside conventional locomotives makes this a particularly evocative journey through LEGO railway history. Each miniature recalls a different generation of building, bringing several celebrated designs together in one display. Now retired and originally distributed outside the regular retail range, it combines the appeal of an employee exclusive with a subject close to many train collectors’ hearts.
