An exhilarating track outing in a Caterham Seven left a lasting impression on fan designer Carl Greatrix, inspiring his LEGO tribute to the lightweight British sports car. Developed into an official Ideas set by LEGO designer Henrik Andersen, this 771-piece model captures its open cockpit, long bonnet and distinctive yellow-and-black bodywork.

The removable nose cone, bonnet and engine invite a closer look beneath the surface, while four axle stands let you display the car with its wheels removed, as if undergoing workshop maintenance. Now retired, this fan-originated model brings a personal motoring memory into brick form, with unusual appeal for collectors who appreciate the Caterham’s stripped-back engineering.
