Italian silver covered cup - Naples, 1839-1872
circular fluted body decorated with three lion heads, resting on three claw feet on a tripod base. Duomed lid with pine cone final. 800/1000 silver, hallmarked with the mark in use by the guild of goldsmiths of Naples for silver objects with a title of 833/1000 or 10 ounces, 1832-1872.
Height 45 cm, maximum diameter 45 cm. Weight about 8.8 kg.
