Folio (32.5 cm), contemporary vellum with manuscript title on spine, a genuine and well-preserved, clean copy (a few spots to leaf n. 140). Large woodcut device of Franceschi on title-page, woodcut initials, ff. nn. 12, numb. 202.
First edition, not common, of this primary work by the Sienese philosopher (1520-1604), a known commentator on Aristotle. Not in Adams (but the Frankfurt edition of the same year), nor in BMC STC.
