of rectangular shape made entirely of tortoiseshell (hawksbill sea turtle, Eretmochelys imbricata, Cheloniidae) with silver floral decoration. On the front side the monogram 'NCE'.
Sterling silver, fully hallmarked Birmingham 1892-1893, silversmith Lionmel Spiers.
