Flemish tapestry manufacture of Brussels, 18th century

Fine Flemish-made tapestry depicting an allegorical scene set in an architectural and bucolic landscape. Remarkable drawing quality and color variety, with rich shading in the drapery and plant details. The composition includes classical figures and architectural motifs, typical of the Rococo style.
The border has an elegant decorative frame with scrolls and plant motifs.
Two inscriptions appear at the bottom:
- *E ♥๏ธ B*: probable reference to the designer or patron.
- *F.V.D.B.*: initials traceable to *Frans van der Borght*, director of the Royal Manufacture in Brussels, active in the 18th century and known for producing high-quality tapestries.
