Blue sapphire diamond gold ring

I8k yellow gold, with a voluminous dome-shaped mount that tapers towards the base, designed to highlight the central gem, an oval cabochon-cut sapphire, flanked by a pair of tapered-cut diamonds. The setting is embellished with pavé set brilliant-cut diamonds. Signed "F. MORONI".  

N. 01 oval-shaped sapphire, cabochon cut, estimated weight approx. 6.00 ct;
N. 02 tapered diamonds and n. 74 brilliant-cut diamonds, estimated total weight approx. 2.60 ct, colour F-G, clarity VVS-VS.
