Eyelashes, fins, and palms, 2024
Glazed stoneware
115 x 25 cm
The work, created using the coil-building technique, consists of two interlocking pieces. It is part of a series by the artist featuring organic elements—such as eyelashes, tentacles, ears, and fins—in abstract form. The piece is made of white chamotte stoneware, finished with a semi-matte white glaze and a black glaze based on iron, nickel, and cobalt oxides, which give the surface a smooth, matte appearance. The glazes are made by the artist and are not commercially available.
