Solid silver Austrian entrée dish, Vienna, 1867
Height x width x depth: 15.5 x 38 x 24 cm. Weight: 1405 g
circular in shape with a snap-on lid. The lid features a handle representing a rich cluster of leaves and a flower bud. On the sides are two handles richly decorated with scrollwork and leaves.
800/1000 silver, hallmarked with the multifunctional mark used in the city of Vienna from 1867 to 1922 and with the ‘JCK’ mark corresponding to the silversmith J.K. Klinkosch.
