A Kilim flatweave, Central-south Anatolia, 19th ct.
420 x 160 cm
Two panels, woven seperately, are sewn together to create this classical anatolian Kilim. Large, archaic motifs in indigo blue stand out the white field. Varied geometric motifs decorate the tribal weaving.
Some stain, small repairs and reweavings.
