The center medallion of this finely woven tapestry shows a joyful scene of children playing. The theme is quite known and can be attributed to Jean-Baptiste Huet (1745-1811). This theme is part of a series called “Childrens games”. The tapestry is of joyful and carefree character, typical for the periode of Luigi XVI.
