Blue and white porcelain plate with Pekingese dogs, China, Qing dynasty (1644-1911)

Diameter 18 cm
A dish with low, rounded edges. The interior is decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with depictions of Pekingese dogs (also called Pekingese lions) playing with a ball among the clouds. The base is engraved with a four-character mark.

Condition: Shows firing imperfections and some slight discoloration.
