Copper alloy figure of Vajrapani, Tibet, 19th century
Height 16 cm
Standing on a double lotus base, his legs in the pratyalidha position, he holds a vajra in his right hand and a noose (pasa) in his left. His chest is adorned with a snake necklace, and his semi-angry face features silver inlays. An inscription is engraved on the back of the base.
