Round table made of gilded and ebony-finished wood, Rome, early 19th century
Height x diameter: 94 x 123 cm
with a base consisting of four scroll-shaped legs carved with leaf motifs, scrolls, and floral decorations, embellished with cherub heads, joined by a central crossbar that culminates in a bouquet of roses. The wood is finished with alternating gold leaf gilding and black ebonizing. The circular top is made of red-and-white breccia marble, mounted on a shaped ebonized wood rim that serves as a transition between the wooden structure and the stone top.
