Literature:
The Ilario Pradella workshop, active in Milan from the 1930s onward (maker's mark 26 MI), is regarded as one of the foremost silversmithing workshops to have collaborated closely with the Buccellati Maison. Numerous silver objects marketed under the Buccellati name were, in fact, physically manufactured in the Pradella workshops, in strict accordance with the Maison's designs and its exacting standards of craftsmanship and quality. Renowned for its mastery of repoussรฉ and chasing techniques, the workshop earned particular acclaim for the exceptional technical excellence achieved in the production of large-scale silver works, becoming one of the principal external ateliers to which Buccellati entrusted the manufacture of its most sophisticated and technically demanding creations.
