Exceptional provenance: The brush basin is published in the catalogue documenting the Eumorfopoulos Collection with the stamp on the bottom certifying its belonging to the Eumorfopoulos Collection.
This is one of the most important and celebrated projects in history to catalog privately held Asian art. The volumes, written primarily by Robert Lockhart Hobson (one of the leading ceramic experts of the time), were published in London starting in 1925.
