Engraving, 475 × 352 mm. From the series of six Masterpieces, in which Goltzius imitates the styles of the great masters, in this case Parmigianino. New Hollstein (Hendrick Goltzius) 9.
Superb, sharp impression with strong contrasts, printed on laid paper with watermark. Trimmed to the platemark, with very narrow margins in places at the top and bottom. The sheet has some professionally repaired areas of paper thinning along the left edge and a repaired tear on the left. Traces of two horizontal folds and some creasing, but in very good condition overall.
