Russian silver tray - 18th century, 1777

of round shape with moulded edge; on the brim a monogram with an imperial crown topped with a cross. Hallmarked on the front with the Russian control mark in use in St. Petersburg from 1908 to 1927 represented by the "head of a woman with kokosnik in profile facing to the right" and with the number "76" for a silver fineness of 76 zolotniks (791.66/1000); on the back side unidentified marks with the year 1777.
