Lucamaleonte was born in Rome in 1983 and it was in the capital that the first part of his artistic career took place. A graduate of the Central Institute for Restoration, he then turned to Street Art in 2001, immediately becoming one of the most appreciated exponents of the Roman and national scene. His constant attention to detail and his interest in ancient printing techniques determine a unique style in his stencil productions. He draws inspiration from classical Greek and Roman art, Etruscan art and medieval and Renaissance bestiaries, reworking elements of nature in his works. To sign his walls and works he very often uses an icosahedron, a regular but multifaceted figure with which he identifies himself. Many of his works see this geometric figure at the centre of his works from which animal or floral figures are developed towards the outside, almost always mirrored, true natural explosions.
