Height x width x depth: 218 x 60 x 30 cm.
Pinewood case cherrywood veneered, circular brass and silver dial signed Robert Smith Irven, with Arabic and Roman numerals, subsidiary dials. Pendulum regulator and hour and half-hour chime on bell.
Robert Smith was working in Irvine in the 1820s; one of his tower clocks is in fact housed at Bute Museum, 7 Stuart St, Rothesay, Isle of Bute.
