        This interesting terracotta model repeats the marble sculpture today kept at the Bargello National Museum.
Various bronze copies exist: the one signed GIO BOLONGE is in the Museum of Fine Art in Boston has a pendant around its neck which represents the plumb bob. In this version the bob is not present. 
This work is a terracotta version, originally bronzed.
