Bronze and lapis lazuli table clock, Early 19th century
Height x width x depth: 22.7 x 8.1 x 8.1 cm. Weight: 636 g.
Square lapis lazuli base with rounded corners, supported by four spherical feet. Empire-style gilded bronze plinth upon which stands a male figure decorated in polychromy. Clock case decorated with polychrome enamels and a genre scene topped by an owl. Gilded dial with polychrome enamels, Roman numerals, black hour markers, and a winding hole at 3 o'clock. Conoidal movement.
Item condition grading: **** good. The case of the clock is in a good state of preservation with the normal wear and defects commensurate with its age and use over time; previous restorations. The watch movement is currently working but may requires a technical service.
