Sterling silver case and blue and brown guilloché enamels decorated with a seascape, silver dial with Arabic numerals and luminescent hour markers bearing the inscription "8 Days". Fully hallmarked on the back side with the London import marks for 1928-1929, silversmith Hardy Brothers. Hardy Brothers, founded in 1853 in Australia, is a prestigious jewelry and silverware company. Known for its high-quality silver items and refined designs, the company has a long tradition of craftsmanship excellence. Hardy Brothers has also been an official supplier to the Australian Royal Family, reinforcing its reputation as a symbol of luxury and sophistication.
Item condition grading: **** good. The case of the clock is in a good state of preservation with the normal wear and defects commensurate with its age and use over time with the exception of enamel defects on the upper left side. The watch movement is currently working but may requires a technical service.
