    Polychrome enamels table clock with inkwell, Austria, 19th century

        Sofa shaped, in gilded metal decorated with floral scrolls and painted in polychrome with genre scenes. The hinged seat opens and is painted inside with an architectural motif; in the center, the clock features a polychrome-painted dial, Roman numerals within white enamel reserves, black hour markers and a winding hole at 2 o'clock. On either side, a blue glass ink containers. Key-wound and time-setting mechanism.
Item condition grading: **** good.
The case of the clock is in a good state of preservation with the normal wear and defects commensurate with its age and use over time.
