The first plate of the first volume is missing, the paper of the frontispiece is reinforced, the first fascicles of the volume are partially detached; in the second, the frontispiece is missing and replaced by a second copy of the frontispiece of the first part. Some of the plates, in watercolour, show smudges in the colour. Contemporary full leather binding with dry impressions on the covers and gold title on the spine. Binding partially detached. Copy densely annotated by an ancient hand.
