Height x width x depth: 2 x 10.5 x 8 cm. Weight: 148 g approx.
rectangular in shape with rounded corners, hinged lid and internal gilding, entirely nielloed with floral motifs; on the front, within an oval reserve, a scene of daily life
Hallmarked with the multi-funcional hallmark for silver at a fineness of 84 zolotniks (875/1000) used in Moskow around 1880–1890, and bearing the mark of an unidentified silversmith.
