Maniere de crayon, 524 x 350 mm (sheet). Plate from "Recueil de Têtes et de Figures choisies dans les plus beaux tableaux de Nicolas Poussin" published in Paris in 1806.
A fine example printed in red on laid paper, with upper and lower margins beyond the platemark. Sheet with scattered traces of foxing, slight defects to the right edge and binding holes along the left edge, but overall in good condition.
Included: a second sheet from the same collection, depicting a standing woman, engraved by Antoine Carrée (active in Paris around 1780 ).
