Rare bronze figural support of foreigner, China, Yuan Ming dynasty, 13-16th century.

Cast as a foreigner kneeling atop an exagonal base, his left hand resting on his hip. The hat like section a top his head, raised as if to support something, wearing a layered skirt tied with a bow below the bulging belly of his bare torso, with earrings pendent from his pendulous ears, and his face with foreign features below long curly hair bound with a fillet.
