French solid silver coffee pot, Lille, early 18th century

Height x width x depth: 32 x 31 x 17 cm. Total gross weight: 1283 g.
Pyriform in shape resting on three stylised feet, body and pourer tapered with undulating grooves, the motifs of which are repeated on the lid, convex, culminating in a small flower-shaped grip. Tradial turned wooden handle.

Hallmarked with the hallmarks for silver in use in France at the beginning of the 18th century, and verified with the hallmark for minute work in use in the French departments after 1838 silver 800/1000.
