Pair of belgian solid silver salt cellars, Ghent, early 19th century

Height x diameter: 6.5 x 7.3 cm. Total gross weight: 105 gr. Net weight: about 40 gr.
circular in shape, decorated with plant, peacock, and geometric elements; resting on three vase-decorated feet. Blue glass not coeval.

Fully hallmarked with the marks in use in Belgium from 1814 to 1831 for silver at the finesness of 833/1000 and with the city mark of Ghent.
