Persian solid silver vase, Persia, 19th century

Height x diameter: 20x11 cm. Weight: 385 gr.
in the shape of an amphora, characterised by a circular base and a rounded body in the centre, tapering upwards to end in a narrow neck and a small flared rim. The entire surface is finely worked by embossing and chiselling, with a rich decorative apparatus composed of interwoven arabesques framing a series of shaped panels with animated scenes depicting animals and moments of everyday life.
