Dromaius novaehollandiae mounted on a silver stand resting on an elliptical wooden base. The object depicts a lush and verdant Australia. On either side of the composition are an emu and a kangaroo, while another emu is positioned atop the egg—elements that evoke Australia, which at the time was seen as an exotic and mysterious land.
