French commode, Louis XIV, 18th century
Height x width x depth: 83 x 130 x 67 cm.
cabinet from the first half of the eighteenth century, veneered in purple ebony (Dalbergia cearensis), with gilded bronze rocaille and mask applications, of fine chiseling, front with two drawers and two smaller ones flanking the undermount with secret compartment inside the cabinet. Shaped top in purple Calacatta marble.
