folding hand fan finely pierced, made of bone, mounted on a green fabric background and set in a wooden frame. Composed of thin sticks crafted with great precision, it features an elaborate openwork design in neoclassical style, typical of the refined European production of the period. The sticks, made from smooth and uniformly pale bone, are delicately openworked.
