Hand fan, Italy or France late 19th century

Weight: 1640 g
folding fan made with finely carved bone sticks. The decorated part, hand-painted, shows a rich floral motif composed of emerald green and white flowers accompanied by sinuous golden ribbons that give movement and lightness to the composition.
The fan is displayed in a semicircular, gilded frame with ornamental detailing. There is also a decorative tassel in light thread, a detail that recalls the feminine fashion of the time and adds a touch of refinement.
