in gilded silver depicting the Four Seasons, resting on solid plinth bases of malachite. Each figure embodies the symbolic characteristics of the season it represents: Spring with flowers and garlands, Summer with ears of wheat, Autumn with a basket of fruit and Winter wrapped in heavy drapery.
