Calcio - Maradona Diego Armando - BOCA JUNIORS, 1981
Boca Juniors (Club Atletico Boca Juniors) home jersey, 1981-82 season, blue with a yellow horizontal band, long sleeves with yellow piping from the collar to the cuff.
Sports magazine Panenka, a publication that pays tribute to Antonín Panenka, a Czechoslovakian footballer who went down in history for his penalty-taking technique, shared a poll on its social media that garnered over 100,000 votes to choose the "most beautiful jersey in football history" among the 1990 Germany jersey, the 1998 Brazil jersey, and the late 1990s Fiorentina jersey. The winner was the iconic Adidas Boca Juniors jersey, worn by Diego Maradona in 1981.
Inner label with material information "LA CENCIA DEL DEPORTE 60% ACETATE 40% ALGODON"
On the front: embroidered ADIDAS sports sponsor, heat-applied yellow flock "C A B J" emblem
On the back: white flock-applied number 10
Jersey worn by Diego Armando Maradona in the Boca Juniors - San Lorenzo match on June 21, 1981, which ended 4-0 in favor of Boca. Maradona scored the fourth goal of the match, a free kick.
Maradona's handwritten dedication and signature on the number "10" are faded due to age and ink absorption from the flock on the number itself. The dedication at the top of the number "0" appears to read "A Carlos Arana con todo cariño- Diego Maradona 10" and then in the center of the number "0" is Diego Maradona's usual signature.
Jersey shows signs of wear, with minor stains, and has not been washed after use. In excellent condition.

It was in this blue and yellow jersey that Diego won his only local football title.
"A football fan would recognize a Boca jersey from a mile away, blindfolded. And yes, you're thinking of Diego Armando Maradona," the description reads.
