Rare white cap with black visor, black band with pinstriped band, black chin strap secured at the sides with two smooth, burnished metal buttons, gold and silver braid on the front, featuring a fasces above the five Olympic rings, the symbol of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Maker's mark inside the cap, rhomboid cellograph "PREMATO BERRETTIFICIO MILITARE - M.PINTON - PADOVA"
Halo on the upper cap, guaranteed original from the 20th century, in good overall condition.
The illustrative photos show Mussolini and CONI President Giorgio Vaccaro, flanked by fascist leaders and officials wearing similar caps.
