Commemorative plaque of the 10th ANNIVERSARY AIR CRUISE, with an effigy of Il Duce in the center, and the motto AGLI ORDINI DEL DUCE SI RAGUNGONO TUTTE LE METE (ALL DESTINATIONS CAN BE REACHED UNDER THE DUCE'S ORDERS), pronounced by Italo Balbo, the commander of the cruise that saw a fleet of Savoia Marchetti SM-55x aircraft fly from Orbetello to New York, Chicago and back to Rome in 1933. Plaque made of burnished brass sheet and mounted on a base of rigid cardboard, measures approximately 15 x 15 cm, in perfect condition. On the back is the manufacturer's stamp ERCOLE MORETTI - ROME - VIA PANICO 77 with any code or article number faded over time.
