Photo of the poet in his Ardito uniform, with a dedication and autograph signature "To Carlo Ghezzi, the writer who, having taken up the pen in his right hand, threatens the action of his left hand - Gabriele d'Annunzio."
The photograph is mounted in a matboard frame along with a commemorative medal bearing the name of the recipient of the dedication. The engraving reads "CHARITY RACE FOR THE FASCIST GROUP D'ANNUNZIO - HOMAGE TO CARLO GHEZZI - 10.1.929 VII."
The card with the photo measures 30 x 42 cm, the medal is 5 cm in diameter.
This lot is an original from the period.
