Album containing 20 albumen photographs mounted on cardboard, depicting archaeological and museum finds, statues, sculptures, and furniture, with numbers indicating likely descriptive captions for the material held in a museum (Uffizi, Vatican Museums).

Owned by Bernardino Grimaldi (Catanzaro, February 15, 1839 – Rome, March 16, 1897), who was Minister of Agriculture, Industry, and Commerce of the Kingdom of Italy from 1884 to 1887 under the Depretis government.

The album, with a leatherette cover, bears a dedication on the cover, printed in gold leaf, "AL COMM. B. GRIMALDI - Ministro Agr. Ind. e Commercio" (TO COMM. B. GRIMALDI - Ministro Agr. Ind. e Commercio).

The photographs measure approximately 30 x 40 cm on average, and the sheets are stamped "FOTOGRAFIA REALE MONTABONE G. BORELLI ROMA Piazza di Spagna 9".
