SS Pope PIUS IX, letter of one page and 5 lines on a 4-page sheet, autographed by Pope PIUS IX with original signature at the bottom, black ink, dated 28 December 1868. Complete with recipient's heading with sealing wax stamp. Creases on the sheet, two slight tears that do not affect the legibility of the manuscript, dimensions of the open sheet approximately 23x32 cm. Excellent condition
