English bronze sculpture, second half of the 19th century

Height x width x depth: 30 x 13 x 8 cm.
made on gilt bronze, depicting a fantastical winged female figure, resembling a fairy or nymph, seated on a decorative base and holding a lizard in her hands.  The ‘Diamond mark’, an English registration mark, is engraved on the back, indicating that the model was registered in 1863.
