Inlaid Dutch Empire Secretaire, 19th centuy

magnificent example of Flemish cabinetry, made of mahogany and mahogany feathers, finely inlaid in fruitwoods with floral motifs, and in the central part of the chalice there is a depiction of the God Apollo on the chariot. The scarab cabinet consists of a series of drawers and a portico with columns with a mirror at the bottom. A drawer at the top, two doors with a shelf at the bottom that also conceals a secret drawer.
