Original oblong paper poster, 34.5 x 96.5 cm, with the Italian flag and a notice reading "COMMITTEE FOR THE MUTILATED - Coming soon: THE FACTORS OF OUR VICTORY - Conference with projections by Father Agostino Gemelli, medical captain".
Storage creases, signs of aging, pen note at top right, in good general condition.
Father Agostino Gemelli (1878-1959) was a prominent figure in Italy during the First World War. He was a doctor, psychologist, army officer, priest, and Franciscan, not to mention his essayistic work in various fields. Even during the war, he continued to write, as is the essay "publicized" in the poster up for auction here.
