Italian Republic, Police Officer's Cap, first half of the 20th century
A First Republic period police officer's cap. The cap is a model 40 from the royal period, featuring a distinctive newly designed decoration consisting of a crimson shield with an eagle and the RI monogram. The chin buttons are from the royal period. Very beautiful and in excellent condition, extremely rare as it was only used for a few months.
