Risorgimento medal collection with photographic portrait of the recipient, late 19th century

Medal collection consisting of five medals: the Medal for the Unification of Italy with the effigy of Umberto I, signed Speranza; the Wars for the Unification of Italy, anonymous, with three bars, 1860-61-1866 and 1870, with a beautiful patina; the Knight's Cross of the Order of Saints Maurice and Lazarus with intact gold enamels; the bronze Medal for the Liberation of Rome; and the Seniority Cross for 25 years, missing the back disc. All accompanied by a photographic portrait of the awarded officer wearing them. A very interesting collection.
