This is probably Xu Guangqi (1562-1633). Xu Guangqi was the disciple and friend of Matteo Ricci, a man of culture and many interests, an imperial official who rose to the highest ranks of his career, and a fervent believer. He is considered the "greatest pillar" of the nascent Christian community in China at the end of the Ming era.
