Inkstand in slip-cast earthenware, hexagonal in section. Composed by: reservoir, tray, lid decorated with figures, names, and symbols of six deities from the Olympian pantheon. It is on a white ground with shades of brown. Stamp beneath the base of the inkstand: Richard-Ginori, S. Cristoforo, Milano; title and date beneath the base of the tray: Per scriver classico, 1923
